Bathua (Chenopodium album) is cultivated and consumed in Northern India as a food crop. Raita is an Indian side dish made with yoghurt (Dahi) and other fruits etc. Raita made with Bathua is a very delicious side dish. Ingredients: Spices: 1. Rosted Cumin Seeds (Bhuna Jeera) 1 spoon 2. Mustard seeds (Sarso) 1/2 spoon 3. One Red Chilli 4. Red Chilli Powder (Lal Mirch powder) 1/2 spoon 5. Salt 1/2 spoon or as per taste 6. Curry leaves 8-10 Other ingredients: 1. Oil : 1 Spoon 2. Green Chilies : (Optional) 3. Bathua: 200 grams 4. Curd (Dahi): 500 grams Above ingredients will serve 4 persons.
